There are two new additions to the Writer’s Toolbox that will be a fun help to your writing.
I’m always on the lookout for neat links to contribute to the Writer’s Toolbox (and if any of you spot something worthy of the list, certainly let me know) to help us all keep the words flowing.
The first addition is a book cover designer/maker. He specializes in dark, gritty covers that grab attention. His bread-and-butter is in genre fiction, particularly thrillers, mysteries, and horror, although he has done romance. Check out the link in the Toolbox to see samples and testimonials under the “Self-publishing” category.
Even though I put his link under self-publishing, people interested in traditional publishing can still view the covers to imagine what they would like theirs to eventually look like.
The second addition is a website that puts up your next novel, book, or blog idea for people to vote on it. They say they “help you write” by helping you decide what to write next by integrating social media. What I like to do is to read other people’s pitches to see what works (and doesn’t work) for them to help refine pitches on my own novels.
I put that one under the new “Thinking up ideas” category.
As you all check it out, let me know what you think of it via a “like” or comment on the Writer’s Toolbox page.
