  1. Love the JK Rowling quote! Going to send it to my friend as she doesn’t like to read haha. The Angela Carter quote rings a particular bell with me – it really explains how much readers invest in the books they read, and I can completely relate to that!

  3. I love the Voltaire quote! In a fit of insanity, I decided I should read “Moby Dick,” a book I hadn’t read yet. I don’t know what I was thinking. I really don’t like Melville, but I thought I needed to read this “American classic” to be a well-read person. It’s been six months, and I STILL can’t make it through! All I’ve done is wasted time. I think I’ll go back to Jane Austen…
