When she is six, Marie-Laure goes blind and her father builds a perfect miniature of their neighborhood so she can memorize it by touch and navigate her way home.

Interesting. This is almost exactly how I felt about the book. The language and the characters enthralled me. Thank you for posting.

This was my book club’s selection for March. Our meeting had to be postponed until April, but everyone I’ve spoken to so far has enjoyed the book.

I loved this book! The prose was so descriptive and the characters well developed. I was a bit disappointed in the ending. I read it months ago and I still think about it, and to me a book that stays with you is first class.
