Born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, Ryan Lanz spent several years touring the world through music, traveling to a dozen countries on three continents with a theater company.
He’s performed on stages ranging from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and the Soul Train set at Paramount Studios to a historic English venue once graced by the Beatles.
He made a brief appearance in film by being an extra in exactly one movie, although it did go on to win 5 Oscars. When not writing, he enjoys watching history documentaries and thinking about the Ancient Roman Empire.
