My book coaching service analyzes a story’s strengths and weaknesses. It’s designed to improve your manuscript, increasing its marketability through discussions about the book’s goals, focus, characterization, description, world-building, and plot.
Here are some of the items I’ll address in your manuscript:
- Character development
- Plot/story arc
- Narration
- Conflict
- Clarity of descriptions
- Tone and style of writing
- Genre-specific reader expectations
- Redundant, contrived, or awkward passages
- Writing strengths and “challenge areas”
- How fluid the reading is / how the prose flows
Comments will be made on a line-by-line basis, as needed, giving you the most information possible. You can expect your manuscript back littered with comments using the Microsoft Word comment feature.
No changes are made to the manuscript itself, instead giving you all the information and feedback possible to make your book shine.
